In addition to feed and water supply, optimal climate conditions play a crucial role in achieving economic success in pig production. However, a modern, computer-controlled climate system is more than just controlling fresh and exhaust air.
Maintaining optimal temperatures even on hot summer days is also very important. Big Dutchman has a wide range of cooling systems available for your pig houses, from simple to state-of-the-art, but always effective:

CombiCool high-pressure cooling system
The efficient high-pressure fogging system
CombiCool is a system designed both to cool and humidify, including in compartmentalised houses. The special high-pressure nozzles made from stainless steel use very little water but have very high exit speeds. They thus create a very fine aerosol fog that is distributed evenly all over the compartment. The warm air in the compartment immediately absorbs the humidity. CombiCool can also be used to humidify the air throughout the whole year.

Basico medium-pressure cooling system
The cost-efficient spray cooling system
The Big Dutchman medium-pressure cooling system can be used in large rooms or in compartmentalised houses. In contrast to the high-pressure cooling system (70 bar), Basico works with a pressure of just 4 bar. A fine aerosol fog is sprayed into the air, reducing the temperature but not evaporating fully.
The system consists of a pump, the Basico nozzles with drip stop and the nozzle lines (PVC pipe with a 20 mm diameter). Adapters are used to mount the nozzles on the lines. One pump can supply up to 270 nozzles. A water flow of 5.5 litres per hour is possible at each nozzle. The 310pro or 307pro climate computer controls the system.

The effective evaporative cooling system
RainMaker is a pad cooling system that features a clever and unique frame system. It is based on the principle of evaporative cooling. The cooling effect is greater the higher the temperature and the lower the relative humidity. This means that RainMaker is particularly effective in climates with hot and dry summers.

ChillMaster: the innovative cooling system
Constant fresh air temperatures without additional humidity in the house
ChillMaster is an innovative, state-of-the-art cooling system that is a particularly good option for livestock where heat stress can cause significant economic losses.
ChillMaster is not an evaporative cooling system. Its great advantage is that the cool fresh air does not bring additional humidity into the building – in contrast, moisture is actually removed from the air. This means that efficient cooling is possible even with a high outside humidity.
