EuroTier 2026: keeping feed orders reliably under control
Smart “view” into the silo: SiloCheck AIR uses radar technology to measure feed levels
At this year’s EuroTier, Big Dutchman exhibits SiloCheck AIR, the radar-based sensor that measures silo feed levels. The sensor determines the feed levels in silos without direct contact and very accurately. The data is transferred into the cloud via Big Dutchman’s IoT gateway OrbitX and then transmitted to the farmer’s smartphone, tablet or PC.

What makes this sensor stand out:
- Easy installation: the wireless sensor is placed on the silo roof and fits all standard silo types.
- Self-sustaining: the battery has a lifetime of ten years.
- Maintenance-free: the sensor does not need any servicing over its entire lifecycle and works despite dust or dirt.
- Early warning: an alarm is generated as soon as the feed level drops below the defined minimum.
- Forecast: the prediction shows the feed levels of the next three days.
- Overview: you can view all silos’ feed levels as tables or graphs, in the office as well as on the go.
Keep track of your silos’ contents at all times and never miss another feed order again!
