Anyone who keeps livestock knows the challenge: moisture, heat and gases must be reliably removed from the house. At the same time, the exhaust air system should be optimally tailored to the animals’ needs – without ventilation becoming an electricity guzzler. This is where Big Dutchman’s CL 600 and CL 820 exhaust air chimneys come into play.

Both chimneys work according to the same principle but differ in size and, consequently, in air flow rate. The right model is selected depending on the size of the house and the ventilation system.

At a glance:

Aerodynamic design: The components are shaped in such a way as to enable efficient ventilation – while using relatively little energy.
Material and cleaning: Both chimneys are made of polypropylene and have a smooth, dirt-repellent surface, which ensures high stability. They can be cleaned with a high-pressure washer and are resistant to frost and sunlight.
Permanently watertight: A labyrinth seal between the roof duct and the roof sheets prevents water from entering the attic. No additional sealing material is required.
Self-supporting structure: Neither model requires any additional suspension or bracing.
Emergency opening not dependent on the wind: In the event of a power failure, a motor-driven damper ensures that the chimney opens, allowing the thermal flows in the house to be used for ventilation. This also significantly reduces the influence of the wind on the air flow rate.

Both chimneys are also suitable for installation in a gable or side wall. A motor-driven shutter enables precise control of the exhaust air volume flow.

Water collectors, light plates, light pans, chimney cowls and light helixes, among other accessories, are available for both models. The individual components can be selected and combined to fit the specific conditions in the house.
