The Compact Layer C-L639 V20 manure scraper system by Big Dutchman is an interesting concept developed specifically for deep-pit layer houses. It combines the advantages of a vertical manure belt system with those of long-term manure storage. The area of the barn is utilised optimally while a special ventilation concept helps create storage-stable manure under the same roof. Even though the manure remains in the deep pit for a long period, ammonia emissions can be significantly reduced. Additional conveyor belts and manure storehouses are not necessary.
“The hygienic environment promotes bird health so customers can look forward to very high laying performances,” says system manager Jörg Küking about the advantages. Another benefit: the barns have a full ventilation system and the deep pit is also ventilated.
Additional details:
- feeding by feed chain or feed cart;
- egg collection with EggCellent or EggSmart;
- up to six tiers without catwalk;
- zinc-aluminium coating of all wire parts: three to four times better protection against corrosion compared to galvanized wire;
- deep feed trough with inner rim: minimum losses.
