What a start! Over 760 sales colleagues from 80 nations gathered yesterday in Istanbul to spend the next three days discussing the opportunities and challenges the industry is facing.

The first meeting of this kind took place in 1987. Back then, it was held in the tranquil town of Dinklage in Northern Germany. Now, the seventh edition is taking place on the Bosporus. A lot has happened since the first Agents' Meeting. One in three eggs is now laid in one of Big Dutchman's nests. One in five chickens eats from Big Dutchman's feed pans. And with the help of digitalisation, the family-owned company is revolutionising pig farming.

All this is only possible thanks to Big Dutchman's extensive network of sales representatives, agents and distributors, which spans all five continents and ensures that the distances to customers are as short as possible. Whether in Honduras, Cambodia, Zimbabwe, Iraq or New Zealand!
