One of the most impressive highlights among the special exhibitions on the occasion of the EuroTier 2002, taking place at Hanover from 12th until 15th of November, is undoubtedly the BFL Special Exhibition “Animal welfare on top – Achievements in Practice” in Hall 26, stand J 13. Quite close to the exhibition stand of the Big Dutchman Pig Equipment GmbH (stand H 15), the Bauförderung Landwirtschaft (BFL) and its leading member companies, will exhibit an impressive house building project.
This project, which stretches over a stand area of 500 m², is divided into several business units such as sow management, piglet rearing and pig finishing as well as calf management and cattle raising. The main focus, however, is on the live presentation of pig management in large groups, which is – according to “Best Available Technologies” – especially animal friendly and environmentally sound and therefore highly recommended by BFL.
It goes without saying that Big Dutchman plays an active part in the BFL Special Exhibition: For the duration of EuroTier, about 30 finishing pigs will be fed by our brandnew PigNic automatic feeder.
